Important

4 Rules Every TRT Patient Must Know

Never self-adjust your dose

Protocol changes require lab data and provider review. Adjusting on your own can cause hormonal instability and side effects.

Use the Max Panel for follow-up labs

The $10 intro test is for new patients only. On TRT, your levels are elevated — only the Max Panel gives clinically useful data.

Labs every 6 months — no exceptions

A Max Panel or above is required every 6 months to remain on the program. This monitors hematocrit, PSA, estradiol, and liver function.

Use the patient request form — not text

The medical request form routes your question to the right team member and creates a record. It's faster than texting and more reliable.

What to Expect

Your First 90 Days

TRT is not a quick fix — it's a stabilization process. Here's what to expect week by week so you can stay the course with confidence.

Week 1–2

Getting Started

  • First injection — follow the tutorial video exactly
  • Expect minimal change — your body is adjusting
  • Log your injection site and date
  • Mild fatigue or mood shift is normal
Week 3–6

Early Adjustment

  • Energy and mood often begin to improve
  • Some patients notice acne or water retention — this is common
  • Do NOT adjust your dose — stay on protocol
  • Contact the team if symptoms feel severe
Week 6–8

First Lab Draw

  • Order your Max Panel — this is required
  • Labs capture steady-state levels for your first review
  • Bring your symptom log to the consultation
  • Protocol adjustments happen here, not before
Week 9–12

Steady State

  • Most patients reach full symptom improvement
  • Energy, libido, and body composition begin to shift
  • Consistent injection schedule is critical
  • Discuss add-ons (peptides, GLP-1) if goals aren't met
